Solid Wood Floors take the lead as the traditional choice, asserting themselves as the ultimate trademark for tradition.

They have been used by mankind over centuries, due to their superior stability, durability, and resistance compared to other types of flooring.

From an aesthetic standpoint, they possess the beauty and nobility of a natural product. Grains, textures, colors, and scents all contribute to another dimension with solid wood.

Currently, laying procedures are easier and stronger, as gluing options complement traditional nailing.

LAMPARQUET

Lamparquet stands as a traditional wooden flooring product, crafted through German manufacturing technology, offering a substantial aesthetic impact.

It suits very well in new economic and modern construction, as well as in renovation projects, if the distance from the subfloor to floor level does not exceed 10 mm. Examples include cases where the old floor had carpets, vinyl, or porcelain etc.

Easy to install, its significant aesthetic impact, lamparquet allows for various application styles: Continuous, Herringbone, Mosaic, Roman, among others.

Available wood species:

Oak, Brazilian Cherry (Jatoba), Yellowheart (Pau Amarelo), Sucupira, Tatajuba.

Dimensions

Length: 240 to 300 mm, Width: 50 to 70 mm ; Thickness : 10 mm.

Drying

Lamparquet from Jular is dried and stabilized to 12% water moisture content.  To export or by request it is possible to manufacture it to other percentages.

Packaging

Lamparquet is delivered in strapped packs of a fixed area.

Installation

Lamparquet is glued directly to the floor. Due to its thin thickness, it is the type of floor that requires special care during installation.

The screed must be well dried-out (2,5% residual humidity at most), avoiding the transfer of moisture to the wood floor and subsequent warping of the wood.

There should be used special and adequate adhesives for this kind of floor. After Laying, Lamparquet will need to be sanded and finished with lacquer, wood wax or oil.

 

Parquet

Parquet it’s made of solid wood, specific description can vary due to dimension variability (namely thickness).

Tong and groove Parquet

Tongue and groove short plank joins the superior quality of an hardwood floor to the economy of the laying system.

Manufactured with larger dimensions than Lamparquet, namely its thickness, it is recommended for homes, offices, gyms and areas with high wear and tear.

Dimensions

420x70 mm; 540x90 mm; 550x90 mm. Thickness: 18 or 20 mm.

 

Traditional Parquet

Traditional Short Plank Parquet distinguishes for the absence of top and lateral tong and groove fitting system.

Aesthetically, after laying it is identical to the tong and groove solution. But in some cases, laying procedures require the absence of tong and groove.

Dimensions

210/280x70 mm; 350x70 mm; 420x70 mm. Thickness: 17 or 18 mm

 

Slim Parquet

Slim Parquet distinguishes from Traditional Parquet only by its thickness.

Especially recommended for applications in situations where there is lack of room for a higher thickness.

Dimensions

300x50/60 mm; 400/420x70 mm; 450x70 mm. Thickness: 14 or 15 mm.

Oak, Larch, Sucupira, Fustic Tree (Tatajuba.)

Installation

As a mosaic wood floor, it’s the one that offers the most, Parquet is the most universal choice.

Parquet can be glued down to a prepared subfloor, Tong and Groove Parquet can also be nailed down to a wooden frame.

Solutions with a wooden frame require slats that leave a ventilation gap of at least 20mm from the screed to the base of the floor. It’s construction with tong and groove assures that even if a bord comes loose, the rest will secure it to the ground.

Application should always be done on subfloors with moister content stabilized and lower than 3% humidity. It’s recommended to exclude water-based glues for installation.

After Laying, Lamparquet will need to be sanded and finishing with lacquer, wood wax or oil.

Plank Floor

Without a doubt, wooden plank floor stands out as the first and the most noble of all wooden floors.

Distinguishes itself for having bigger dimensions, especially width and length.

Those features help showing the beauty of natural wood, its grains, textures and shades.

Afzelia (Doussie), Oak, Brazilian Teak (Cumaru), Garapa, Brazilian Cherry (Jatoba), Larch, Sucupira, Maritime Pine, White Spruce, Red Spruce, Fine-leaf Wadara (Tauari)

Dimensions

Length: 500 a 2400 mm; Width : 85 a 170 mm Thickness: 18 a 22 mm.

Drying

Hardwood plank floor is dried out and stabilized on 12% humidity.

Packaging

Wood Plank Floor is delivered in strapped packages, with variable area, depending on the availability of feedstock.

Installation

Laying the floor can be done in different ways, nailing on beams or slats, over OSB boards or directly to de screed.

 

PAVILAR

Pavilar®  it’s a Portuguese denomination of a pre-calibrated parquet, designed by Jular, it is a convenient alternative to traditional solutions.

Made with 10 mm thickness, especially suitable for renewing floors, as well as for new construction as usual.

Flexibility is one of the main advantages of Pavilar®: the secret lies on the reverse side of the boards, where a network of longitudinal and transverse cuts reduces tensions from the wood grain, increases the adhesive surface of the glue, and accommodates the irregularities of the screed.

Pavilar® is supplied from factory already pre-calibrated, eliminating the need for heavy, polluting, and noisy sanding machines. After being glued down, even on stone or porcelain mosaic, Pavilar only requires a pass with a manual sanding machine or a sanding disc, saving a significant amount of time.

Packaging

Pavilar® standard delivering is on strapped packs with variable area: 30% less than 70 mm and 70% with lengths between 700 and 900 mm.
